Special education attracts some strange individuals. Many people go into it full of love and have the best of intentions to help these particular kids, but many people go into it for entirely different reasons. I've met some whacked-out people, especially teaching assistants. I've worked in this field for many years and have just about seen it all, but sexual abuse has never happened at any place I've worked, to my knowledge. These kids are so vulnerable, though, that it's not surprising to hear when it does happen.
I have a special needs daughter , I praise God , I caught the bus driver , Peter , and he looked like a Pedo , hauling ass in the bus flying by the gate to get up to my house , ( door pick up and drop off ) I was running late getting home and was actually behind him on the street leading up to the gate . He flew by the gate and I thought wtf is he doing I live in San Diego there are lots of green areas parks and canyons . My daughter was the last drop off . I immedietly called the dispatcher and followed him . He turned around , but was heading to a canyon park . Detectives were involved etc . Longer story. But I thank God I was running late getting home that day and that God had her protected !
Special needs kids are the best. They still have the innocence that we all had. Very trusting.
I have worked with this community for sixteen years now and I couldn't be happier. I am so grateful that God brought me to them. These are my friends from another time and I am here to help them navigate this evil world. There's a lot of great people helping our community, but there are also some scumbags that try to use my friends as toys. Millstones await them.
Wow I wish you lived in San Diego , my daughter was born Downs Syndrome, she was a beautiful happy high functioning baby , bliond hair with green eyes , but the vaxx ), I wasn’t awake then ) gave her autism , that’s where the challenge is . I am in the process of hiring a team to surround her meeting a new young girl today who has s few years experience . Thank you and God bless you and please know that I mean that
I agree with you. As much as I hate the public school system, kids with special needs are a joy to be around and are the reason I have stayed. They have no judgment and no hate for anyone. And they know how to have a good time in a way adults have forgotten. Where I used to work, we had dances for the students and they were so much fun because the kids had a blast and didn't care what they looked like getting into the music. Anyone who would try to take this innocence from them deserves hell.
That’s awesome, I should have mentioned that there was usually a monitor , she had called out thst dsy and the school didn’t put someone else in her place . That never happened sgsin and there were some other requirements out in place , including she was never to be transported with that bus driver , cameras is whst they may have now ? This was 10 years ago in San Diego and there were none .
That is so scary. We had a similar story with my two boys and the next door neighbor girls. We lived in a very family populated neighborhood where all the kids within walking distance walked to school. At 8:45 there were droves of kids walking down the street together. My sons and the girls next door walked together - 4 kids. One day, a car slowed down with two men in the front, and asked the kids if they wanted a ride. Thankfully my oldest who was still in grammar school at the time just said "RUN!!!" And they all did. He was afraid to tell me about it because he didn't want me to worry. One of the mom's in the neighborhood told me and he confirmed. I still have post traumatic stress thinking about what could have happened.
Omg , oh my God! I cannot believe that happened to your children I think God there were angels surrounding them and that your son was smart enough , trained enough to get the other kids to run , oh my God , yes , I can imagine I would have PTSD for the rest of my life as well, I pray the peace of God settles on you and comforts you when those thoughts come .

God bless you and your daughter. She's so lucky you were there and paying attention to this predator.
