Tim Ballard is a good and decent man with a single minded focus, saving children. He is a former federal agent so his thoughts on privacy and rights probably align with how his fellow agents think. He likely thinks of it as a means to stop kids from being smuggled in broad daylight and not think beyond the immediate benefit.
