I'm not sure if this is the real story, but heard the Board Owners were threatened (by black hats I assume) and very mysteriously decided to shut down on Christmas.

I do know that Q directly sent us to QRV and in HAM Radio means:

"Are you ready? I am ready"

Someone here at GAW mentioned that VOAT was operational again but, I'm only aware of the search archives. Perhaps someone here knows more...
