Shawn is likely either a CIA plant or has been psyop influenced without him realizing it. He's self admittedly former CIA. Pretty clear his discernment with the CIA guest recently was off. And he's been pushing the aliens narrative a ton.

IMO this could explain how he shot up in views to become so popular so fast - placed into popularity by an agency.
