“I think we’ve come full circle” implies that AI can now do what humans used to do.
I’m illustrating that 99.9% of the users here don’t realize that that moment happened in 2002 at the latest, and AI has been used for very, very evil things for more than a decade. OPs post displays a childlike ignorance of the world we actually live in, which was my point.
My posts—and the content I provide—are meant to be illustrative, not offensive.
I don't think your links prove at all that AI has been able to make the art it can now since 2002. The second two are pretty basic implementations of neuroencephalography, and the first is... What are you even implying with that first link?
The manner in which the fingers are painted are jacked up but there are no extras. Try looking at it on a larger screen and zoom in to see there are no extras.
sorry, but there is... one of them is overlapping with an otherwise normal one, giving it an extra nail halfway up. none of the extra fingers are in full view, but you can tell its not counting. look at the edges, there are too many.
On the left-hand pointer finger there is a knuckle near the fingernail that looks like a fingernail but is not. That same hand has some jacked up shading on the ring finger that makes it a bit mongoloid looking. The right hand has the FU finger looking like it is growing from the palm but no extra.
i'm not gonna dig out the red circles cause you don't know what a hand looks like lol. the algorithms being used are not as advanced as you think they are. they chose to publish this image because it had the least visible abnormalities.
I worked in the fine art industry for decades including printing. AI learned from human artists who have a lot of difficulties with hands. Hundreds of artists have asked me to critique artwork prior to paying me to print it. In the case of most of them they did not want me to tell them where the issues were in their artwork, they just wanted a professional to say, "Very Nice Work". Open the image on a large screen with PhotoShop and you will see it better than on a phone.
You have no idea what AI can already do.
Are you ready for the world you've already been living in for more than a decade?
"I SAW THAT AI CAN DO ART ON THE INTERNETS!!!!!!!"
Oh, you sweet, sweet, naive child................
I think OP's point was to contrast the beauty of the AI painting to the heinous product of the human mind. Not the fact that AI can produce art.
And I think you missed my point entirely…

MK Ultra is not the same concept... let's talk about how MK works: https://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/the-world-of-mind-control-through-the-eyes-of-an-artist-with-13-alter-personas/
First pic painted by AI has a couple extra fingers on each hand in each pic.
I'm donating some free pseudocode to the AI movement.
if finger_count_per_hand = 4
then stop_adding_fingers_yo
There are no extra fingers on my screen. I'm using a laptop and not a phone, so the image is large enough to see.
look closer lol, they're there

The first one is very cheesy and sentimental and the second is deranged.
