Well, you feel the heat! I was born in Ohio. Lived there until 12 years old. I still have never adjusted to the heat. It is miserable. You will not sleep down here until you get used to the skeeters and the constant sweating in your sleep. The swamp is no place to find comfort. I promise! You either love the lifestyle and the people or you will not make it here! Period! Resilience is the key trademark of a true southerner. Especially Cajuns and creoles!
