Rich people look for places to invest their money. Many set up these Charitable Foundations as cover, or to launder money & pay for play like the Clintons. Others because they want to do good. People support these Charities because their friends are doing it and at first glance (which is what most people only do) it looks reputable. There are pictures of President Trump with Epstein. Only when there was a provable incident did he ban him from Mar-a-lago and stepped up to stop him. Even many of our Founding Fathers were masons. Many Americans are or were Masons and at the lower levels do charitable work. Our legal system stipulates that people are innocent until proven guilty.
