A team of researchers claimed that engineering and computer science is full of budding fascists, using mocking responses to a gender identity survey as evidence.

I've known pretty mediocre developers over the years, but even they are mostly sensible. Some seem to be able to turn off the logic switch and vote left, however. Sometimes, they'll have striking moments of logical clarity, and then it's gone!
