Roddy Piper used to say 'film' like that. A quick search finds it is an Irish pronunciation that can also be heard in England. Could it be found in Scotland where Donald's mother is from also?

Can confirm. Some Irish/Gaelic people also pronounce 'sheet' (as in paper) as 'shit'.
