Am I allowed to refuse to participate in a murder investigation and decline interviews in regard to a murder victim that is found, who was under my employment and whose body was found in a body of water adjacent to my property?

Yes, everyone is allowed to refuse to participate. You never have to answer questions from authorities. You have an absolute right to remain silent.
