How do i join an AA group

Why is this so damn hard. I have no insurance to cover it and everyone i talk to wants to know my insurance.

I just want to talk to people that have a drinking issue.

Wtf. Why are such things so hard?

Trying to clean up my drinking.

I don't know who you are calling, but I don't think it is AA.
They don't charge anything, or take insurance, and they definitely talk to drunks.
