How do i join an AA group

Why is this so damn hard. I have no insurance to cover it and everyone i talk to wants to know my insurance.

I just want to talk to people that have a drinking issue.

Wtf. Why are such things so hard?

Trying to clean up my drinking.

I'm glad that I've never been prone to addiction. Hardest thing I quit was an ex. I stopped drinking on a dime.
