How big can we imagine this to be? Anyone got any mind blowing theories?

While there were phones built into some planes back then, mostly jumbo jets, you'd think the hijackers would have switched them off immediately since they're enabled from the flight cabin so they're not used at certain times like take-off and landing. So yeah, the call thing always sounded made up.
