Or, I could just link you the same apples off Walmart.com versus Walmart.ca,

Walmart.ca $6.55 a kilogram. Walmart.com $3.12 a pound.

2.20 pounds in a kilogram so we take the US price of $3.12 a pound times 2.20 = $6.86 USD per kilo, so these apples are actually more expensive in the US. Also, the Canadian dollar is worth about 0.75 USD, so it's actually even worse.
