I'm pretty sure that if you are in Ukraine occupied territory NOTHING else matters other that what the UkroNazis say.

Not the rule of law, natural justice, what other countries think (including their sponsors), human rights, freedom of speech/expression. FUCK ALL

I think that his friends had a very good point though - giving him back his passports etc just didn't make sense. Sadly, it looks as though they, and he, were mistaken.
