No, the Establishment Clause prohibits the gov't from establishing a state religion. Remember, the Plymouth colonists left England because the King would not allow them to freely practice their faith. The original premise has been corrupted through the years. "In God we trust" was meant for Christians but really, this phrase can apply to any faith that has a God.
There is also a Free Exercise Clause that protects citizens right to practice their faith as long as it does not "run afoul" of public morals or against laws.
