New info ... it appears to me that his license lapsed in NY in 2019, when he went to the ICC.

I dont know how but it appears that the NY Bar has let him catch up on dues in 2023 and it now show it expires in 2025 [the licensing or good standing designation is biannual]. Even the DOJ page shows updated in 2023 but I thought they decided to bring him to DOJ in November 2022 so possibly there was a gap.

You are so knowledgeable...are you in the legal field? It seems incredible to me but my Mom worked for a federal judge and they are appointed for life just like SC justices. She saw shady things there...
