I did track down some more context myself - she seemed obviously hysterical, but I haven't found an explanation as to "why the MF'er is not real".

Apparently, she tried to get back on the plane after leaving it on the tarmac, before it took off - probably once she realized she needed to get to wherever her destination was lol
