The trial is in DC with DC jurors who are decidedly Democratic and anti-Trump. They want to keep their federal jobs and the system as it is.
The jurors will consist of a number of "oppressed" minorities who aren't interested in fairness for a rich white guy. They're only interested in getting more handouts from the Dems.
Given the above, the juror's attention spans will be short if at all. They will come into court unhappy they were chosen for jury duty. With days turning into weeks into months as per Kash's subpoenaed list of witnesses, they will first get tired and then angry they have to be there day after day. They will see Trump as the reason they are there and will react against him at verdict time.
Kash thinks the prosecution bit off more than they can chew and this long witness list will cause the whole thing to boomerang. Remember while the rest of the country might be watching and sympathetic towards Trump, the DC swamp will be demonstrating and the rabble rousers will be constantly drum beating for his conviction. The jurors will see them every day recognizing them as fellow DC homies and friends. They won't want to disappoint their pals and be chastised in their hood.
Kash needs to remember where this drama will take place. The people there don't like Trump and knowing he will put an end to their means of livelihood, won't be convinced or sympathetic to the person that pledges to destroy their "system".
Anti-Trump sentiment is strong in DC, but the evidence that Trump can produce in this trial will be publicized far and wide. The exposure will be catastrophic for the DS. A criminal indictment seems to be an error, possibly a forced one.
There are people who will want to be on the jury so they can get attention by giving interviews, post on their social media, or just enjoy the notoriety of being on the jury for a historic trial. This isn't just a normal trial, it is a President of the United States.
My concern, wherever the trial is held, is for jury tampering by the DS either by planting or intimidation. I recall there was a juror in the Ghislane Maxwell trial who claimed to be a victim of sexual abuse after the trial ended, even though he denied it on his disclosure form.
All those concerns considered, though, you never know what is going to happen. The way it proceeds may be surprising.
Publicized far and wide needs to be considered within the context of who is doing the broadcasting, analysis, editing, etc. If the trial is damaging to the Dems the MSM will either selectively release edited clips or ignore and give their own synopsis without any video footage. The spinning will be sufficient for the hard left. Ultimately, this trial might be sensational but potentially the whole thing could end up being appealed to the Supreme Court.
I'm old enough to remember the OJ Simpson trial and how the whole country was convinced he was guilty but the jury said otherwise. I predict the DC jury will do what the Dems want them to do and ignore all evidence to the contrary.
The MSM won't publicize anything favorable to Trump, and it would be futile to expect otherwise. They will probably only report on the prosecution and find other things to report or create false flag events while the defense is presenting. I don't think that the hard left is asleep, though. They are complicit, so the spinning is not for them. I don't know what evidence or witnesses Trump has, but his purpose in this is to expose the DS to the public to wake up anyone still asleep.
I realize that you are saying that no matter the public opinion, the jury will find him guilty. That may happen, and the DS is probably counting on Trump supporters rioting as a bonus. At a minimum, the DS thinks it just needs to keep Trump off the 2024 ballot with a felony conviction, even if it's overturned by the SC afterwards.
I disagree with Kash for the following reasons:
