Reminds me of a book in this series that I should probably re-read with an eye for the comms. Now that I'm aware, the "meme space" nonsense might not seem Quite so non-sensical. In retrospect it may have been comms about a great awakening of sorts. Anyhow, at one point the age old paper media proved more reliable than the encyclopedia galactica, so unfortunately the "internet in space" is likely just another memory hole to eat your data.
