In other words, the Q movement came into existence because of the original Q (just some random anon)?

Not really possible because of the 4chan /pol/ context. It was a very tough environment and a rando would have been summarily dismissed. After being thoroughly chewed. Plus the place was crawling with clowns. There was a group that tried to claim ownership, their LARP, and they may well have contributed to the framework but the Qposts were dynamic in their interaction with the board, suggesting knowhow. Technical and intel knowhow, not random.
