In Ohio we are pretty much conservative, issue one will allow other forms of id,, illegals are here too. Issue one makes it more difficult to change our constitution, we would need a 60% threshold, plus we lose the 10 days to get extra votes for a issue if requested. Larosa is crying about keeping out of state money out of our politics, but why, what's in it for him all of the sudden and BTW this issue one was pushed by out of state money. I was wrong about the lgbtq stuff being in the bill, (there was talk of it) but I didn't see it, so on that point I was wrong ,. Looks like we won with no on issiu 1.why fix what is not broken. Proponents of issue one (yes vote) claimed it will make it harder to change Ohio's constitution but in reality it makes it harder on the voters to change things . Also now the abortion issue, we have a 6 week policy after 6 weeks no abortion . They would have changed it to 26 weeks. And that was packed in the bill.So imagine having to get 60 %. To get it back the way it is. A win for Ohio!
No, we aren't. There are plenty of conservative areas, but Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland are pretty deep blue, and despite most of the state being red, they're the reason Ohio has a history as a swing state, and why, up until recently, we were purple.
This was not a win for Ohio; it's not a loss yet, but the point was to make it harder to allow for constitutional amendments because special interests want to change our constitution for anti-voter id and pro-abortion agendas, and so on. There's a reason the push for this was so skewed and intentionally confused.
When it comes time to vote on those measures, people are going to need to pay more attention and do more research than they did today.
Your ass backwards, special interest groups were pushing this bill with out of state money, like I said they wanted to change voter ID , why?? So illegals can vote?? You need to get some data about what else was in the bill.Im not that savvy to be much help. And why now out of the blue would they want to change things up 🤔 the vast majority has spoken! And have you seen the news tonight oan , real Americas voice, Steve Bannon , all praising Ohio , CNN crying about not getting their way. Who's side are you on anyway? Let's not forget , Google and msm only let you see what they want you to see.
