Many ardent supporters of free speech were alarmed when Elon Musk appointed former NBC Universal executive and WEF darling Linda Yaccorino as the new CEO of Twitter (now X). Those fears appear to have been realized with Yaccorino’s announcement that the platform will seek to reduce the visibility of content that is, as she put it, “lawful but awful.”
