As terrifying as the prospect is and as much as it seems likely, the one ace in the hole we have is Space Force will know who did what with what and when. They are likely letting them commit atrocities so they won’t be able to walk the streets in the future. We are at war after all. Either that or the white hats failed to stop this one.

I don't think Space Force would allow a mass casualty/war crime/criminal atrocity like this to take place. My guess is it slipped by, but they know everything about it.
