I tried the search example on pubmed.com with a filter including 2015, and I couldn’t find a mention of that patent. Has anyone been able to find it there?

You need to look at the Patent Office site, not pubmed.

Or just google "patent" "covid" "2015" —be sure to keep the quote marks—you’ll get a lot of interesting hits.
