I got distracted and didn't put my own thoughts, looks to me like Musk is going forward with trying to make X into a WeChat style app in stages. First it will be for the premium Twitter account but if it becomes what he has stated himself he wants it to become, you will need a verified account (which will just be an account as there will be no unverified users) on X to do pretty much anything in society
