Dear Jesus As we gather on this holy Sabbath day, we come before you with grateful hearts. We thank you for the gift of rest and worship, a day set apart for reflection and communion with you. Jesus as we pause from our daily routines, we ask for your presence to fill this sacred time. May your peace descend upon us, calming our hearts and minds. Help us to cast aside our worries and distractions, so that we may fully focus on you. We are reminded, Lord, of your creation and how on the seventh day, you rested. As we follow your example, we seek to draw nearer to you. Open our hearts to your word, and grant us wisdom and understanding as we delve into your Scriptures. Lord, we also lift up to you those who are suffering and in need. May your healing touch be upon them, and may we be instruments of your love and compassion in their lives. As we worship you on this Sabbath day, may our praises and prayers rise like incense before your throne. Renew our spirits, strengthen our faith, and guide us in the path of righteousness. Continue to bless this site and all the souls here. Bring us to one mind so we may begin spreading truth to the world. In Jesus Christ glorious name amen

I just want to stop in and give a prayer of thanks to Our Heavenly Father.
First Lord, I'd like to thank you for Slechta and this daily prayer thread. Though I don't utilize this thread as often as I should, I am so very grateful for it. Thank you for blessing us with Slechta. Thank you for giving us this place to come and pray.
Now Lord, if only I had the words. You spared my daughter and kept her safe and out of harms way, while many others perished in the fires on Maui. The tears run down my face as I type this prayer to You. Thank you God, thank you. So many others are suffering and morning their lost ones and I do ask for You to comfort them. I don't know why You blessed me but, I am so grateful You gave me yet a little more time with my daughter. I know You might take her from me soon. I've been wrestling with this for the last year. Thank You for not taking her yet Lord. My hope has been You'd heal her. But, if not, that I'd be there to hold her and say my last good bye when her time comes. When she got a hold of me and said she was ok, Jesus just know my heart because words fail me. There are no words that express my love and joy for You. I will never be able to give You enough thanks and praise.
I close my prayer with Revelation 4:11: "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things. And by Your will they exist and were created." Amen.
Amen. Thanks for the kind words in your prayer and for the beautiful prayer my fren. Absolutely wonderful prayer. Great way to end it as well. You are worth o Lord Indeed. God bless u fren. Love u
