The Navy’s been agitating for more funding as of late and for a massive modernization program after their last attempt to launch a new class of ships flopped. There’s been persistent rumors they’ve been looking at bringing the fleet up to 400. Not counting Mothball ships.
Also the rumors they’re looking at a launching a new Battlecruiser or Battleship class have been starting to flair up again. But that happens periodically so it’ll probably amount to nothing like Usual.
