There's something seriously wrong with this MUG shot

In a usual "MUG" shot, there's a height scale, and the person is told to stand up straight. Where's the height scale? He's definitely NOT standing up straight. There's NO side view. Also, usually, the person holds a identifying tag.' These same issues hold for Sidney Powell, Rudy, and probably others. This is NOT a "MUG" shot, it's a photo op for the a$$hole sheriff.
A note on research.
When you claim something is out of the ordinary, you first have to establish what the ordinary thing is. You find have to establish "a baseline." Like if you're changing your store displays to increase revenue you might want to establish what your baseline revenue is. Perhaps revenue from the previous three months.....or the previous three Augusts.
You make a strong claim
and cite this evidence
This does seem unusual because we are used the height scale in other mugshots. But that's not the baseline because each place is different. The baseline is how Fulton County does their mugshots.
Well here's an article from last year with four mugshots from Atlanta. This is the baseline. Does this look similar to Trump's mugshot? https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/atlanta-police-concerned-over-repeat-offenders-after-arrests
There is a differnce. Your picture doesn't have the background. Your picture is also not the officially released mug shot.
Here's the real official mugshot released by Fulton County https://a57.foxnews.com/static.foxnews.com/foxnews.com/content/uploads/2023/08/640/320/Donald-Trump-Indictment-Fulton-Georgia-Mugshot_02.jpg?ve=1&tl=1
It's got a grey background and a logo, just like the baseline of the four mugshots from last year. So this looks legit. And it's the same photo of trump.
What's it mean that the image you have doesn't have the grey background?
Well it seems like someone, who had access to the photo, but not the final mugshot leaked it to the internet.
Your discussion is reasonable and accurate. Thank you for the perspective. I, and all of us should be more careful in our posts.
There's a psychological phenomenon where once you notice something or once you get interested in something you start to notice it everywhere. And seems like it's some new big trend, but in reality...previously it was just like background stuff you ignored.
My brother once bought a used car I never heard of. Right afterwards, I saw them everywhere. It wasn't that the car was more popular, in fact they had stopped making them. I just knew about them and my brain was able to recognize them now.
Went to find a link and this article uses the same example. Hilarious
https://science.howstuffworks.com/life/inside-the-mind/human-brain/baader-meinhof-phenomenon.htm
It's called the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon because someone once learned about this group, an East German terrorist group also known as the Red Army who were big in the 1970's. Hours after the first time he heard about them, he heard another reference to them. This was years after the group dissolved.
Well, I definitely caught it. Once I realized what I saw, I was anxious to share. Not having a mug shot background, I didn't know all the details that others have also shared. Too much TV I guess.
The amazing part of the board is how much raw knowledge is available. This place is fantastic because of all of you. My thanks to you all.
