Also flying mid-sept. First time in about 10 years. Not entirely happy about it but its the only viable way to get where we're going.
just pray for safety to Jesus. I figured if it's my time, then it's time to see Jesus. Unfortunately, I fly quite often.
I used to fly a lot before 9/11. Once through security was enough for me to drive for any trips or just not go.
But we're heading El Salvador for vacation and to scope out as a potential place to relocate, and driving through Mexico and Guatemala is likely far more dangerous than flying.
I left the west coast and relocated to Midwest. Need to go see family before they all kicked the can since they all took so many jabs. Don't have time to drive and come back to work so that's why flying. Next year, thinking of flying to Peru to see Machu Pichu. At least they don't demand jab passport.
El Salvador, huh? Sounds like a decent place now.
We were interested in Nicaragua for a time, but they still require a PCR test or the clot shot. Plus we're unsure what's going on with Ortega. El Salvador supposedly didn't require the shot.
Looks like Bukele will get re-elected, so that's another 4 years of his policies if they don't take him out first. That'll be about the time we're ready to re-evaluate staying there, coming back to the States, or finding another place.
