isn't Greece currently suffering the effect of sucking off the EU central bank and waiting for a reach around on a pile of burnt down olive trees from all the diversity?

Absolutely. The politicians borrow money from the EU, spend at least half of it on themselves and then make THE PEOPLE pay it all back. It's now called "Austerity". It used to be called theft.
