A CONVERSATION I WILL NEVER FORGET 🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬

I work in sales, specifically biologic pharmaceuticals. I was having an in office lunch with a specialty clinic, and I had a very odd conversation with a Nephrologist (deals with kidneys for those that don't know).

During this conversation we shared some stories, nothing crazy, and out of nowhere he was talking about a Doctor friend of his (military) that helped with Bin Laden's treatment after he was captured. He said Bin Laden needed dialysis, and had to have specialized care while traveling on board the aircraft carrier, or vessel that held him. This vessel had to port every so often so they could meet up with a military medical team to assist with treatment for his kidney's and other ailments. His friend was one Nephrologist who actually treated Bid Laden in one of these ports.

Naturally, I tried to correct him as we all know Bin Laden was killed during the raid (or so we are told). I thought maybe he was thinking of another individual associated with Bin Laden who was captured.

He maintained that it was Bin Laden and said he wasn't killed during the raid and that I was wrong. He even said it is common knowledge Bin Laden wasn't killed in the raid.

At this point the conversation went silent, as I stopped asking questions and so did the Doctor. I realized he may have inadvertently told me information that was not mine to hear, or his for that matter. He thought nothing of it and walked back to his office, as I sat there in complete confusion.

The part that befuddles me is that if Bin Laden indeed was captured why didn't they bring the specialized equipment and doctors to the ship? The only answer that makes sense is that he was going to a specific location and it made more sense to port for treatment.

To this day I have only told a handful of people, thought it was time to tell all of you.
