I work in local gov in SOFL. I get all the emergency management stuff in my in box. We used to get qualifying data for storms. Info such as atmospheric moisture content, sea surface temps, etc. along with the information for tropical storms. All of the sudden that stopped with this latest storm Idalia. We don’t get that information and are simply supposed to believe that “rapid intensification” is going to occur over the next 24 hours due to the “record high” sea surface temps, which appear to me to be exactly what they were last year. Also, if you look at those sea surface temp anomaly maps, they stopped including any data after 2010, seems weird to leave the last 12-13 years of temp data out, right? Kind of like they are manipulating the numbers?

Time for Desantis to shine it sounds like, his numbers keep sinking so they have to try and find some way to portray him as fit to be CIC… weather is now part of politics…
