The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported one private school on Maui has received about 1,000 new applicants since the fire. However the article also mentioned a private school with 200 students had been destroyed by the fire (excerpt):

Do people seriously think the same shit that goes on in public schools doesn't go on in private schools?
yes... public schools are dying and good private schools are thriving

I agree. There is definitely shit that goes on in all schools but private schools and particularly Christian private schools are completely and totally different from public schools in a very good way. We need public schools to go completely away - they are nothing more than prison indoctrination centers.
