Unfortunately, there is a strong environmental movement in NJ and many people fall for it. The percentage of people who now want this has been decreasing (we love our Jersey shore) but it looks like it is too late since the legislation has been passed. It won't be until people see the huge increase in their electric bills that will wake them up. I project that this whole wind project will fail but we will still get stuck with the bill to a foreign company.
If I see another “another 500 acres saved from development” sign I’m gonna puke. It should more accurately read, “look at this other land we used your money for that you don’t own moron”
I know, We are taxed a small amount on our property taxes for "open space." One day I went and searched for that "open space" in my town. I found one site that was next to a railroad track. It was a small track that was muddy (it was a grassy area) because it was used by commuters as a parking area (it's near the train station. But they had this really big elaborate sign. It was about 6000 square feet. What a joke. Though the tax is small, we are one of the largest towns in the state so it adds up.
Yea we moved here from PA a few years back for healthcare and family and I’m ready to head on back. We’re closer to Philly and the area is just full of progressive retards. Problem is we came here on a 2.8% mortgage so even with the property taxes I’d still be paying more to move back at the moment lol.
I hope know one thought any different...
