I ACTUALLY get this. Years ago I was explaining to an American friend who though a sort of truther was always worried about the debt. I said then Make 28 coins and write a TRILLION on each of them and pay off the debt, after all it is worth as much as the phony fiat money they sell us! BUT a cheque, even BETTER.
