I was on Eliquis. It cost $3200 per month in upstate NY.

See if they can switch you to prasugrel (generic for effient). I think since it has gone generic it is much less costly and probably works just as well. https://www.ecosia.org/search?tts=st_asaf_macos&q=prasugrel%20cost
