Seriously?
My bony 87yo Parkinson suffering dad takes blood thinners. He falls about 5 times a day and hasn't had an serious event yet.
BTW we do try to stop him from taking risks but he refuses, Ambulance and police have been involved many times and even they can't stop him until he has been declared incompetent. Appts for evaluations are almost impossible to get. We currently have a Dr driven rush and its still been 6 months.
Point is he is probably safe to ride. My dad just won't give up what he wants to do. He doesn't live in fear.
This friend of mine is kind of an idiot. Like he has Covid early during the scamdemic long before the vax came out. He was complaining about weird symptoms for months, and when the vax came out the doc said “oh you might as well try the vac and see if it helps your symptoms.” He did, ended up in the ER within days with a PE… that didn’t stop him. He got the second shot, and every booster since.
