Slippery slope, as they say. I’m glad you broke free of those clutches.

I don’t know anything about this guy other than I’ve heard of his band, but many musicians have led lives filled with too much “partying”/addiction. I’m sure, like so many others that preceded him, his loved ones would have liked it a whole lot better if there was no fame, no fortune and, instead, health and longevity. Rest In Peace, Mr Harwell. 🙏✝️

Thanks. Me too. I only know the details of his case because of an interview with his manager. Apparently he went off on a drunken rage on stage and was dismissed from the band. Addiction + loosing maybe the only thing he was passionate about made it spiral.
