Lasted this long but apparently I finally got sick with the wuflu. Thought I'd share my brief experience. Started with sore throat 7 days ago. That came and went but body aches started. Then coughing the last 2 days. At times throat was burning so bad, and at times the coughing was worse because the throat itself was sore.
Finally went to urgent care today just to be safe it wasn't strep or bronchitus. First thing they did after asking symptoms was just prep the covid test. After results came back positive, she said they DO prescribe Paxlovid, but only to people with a BMI of 30 or more. Gave me a script for 2 different cough suppressants, and told me to ride it out. I have all the basic vitamins for the protocol, C, D, Zinc, Ivermectin, so I'll continue those as well.
I had a mild, unproductive, lingering cough after covid symptoms. I fixed it with cetirizine hydrochloride - one pill per day for three days. It's fairly common for a cold- or flu-type virus to trigger an allergic reaction, which can be suppressed (permanently) by a short course of antihistamines.
The key word is "unproductive". If you are coughing up significant phlegm then you don't want to suppress that!
