It’s amazing the marketing campaign that’s kept most ignorant of these facts. The phrase, “...subject to jurisdiction of...” means the same now as when it was included in the eligibility details in the constitution.

And this is equally so for anyone being born in the USA, not just for those being considered for placement into a high ranking position. All spawn born to those not citizens are citizens of the nation where their parents are citizens. This notion that just getting to the States and dropping spawn and then being anchor babies is complete BS, illegal and makes no sense whatsoever.
