The Developers for Apple Maps are non-Americans who don't use Apple Maps. (Same with Siri) That's why it can't pronounce normal English words, why the directions are typically really bad, and why it contains stupid errors like this. You shouldn't ever think that anything intelligent can come from a platform that pronounces "Utah" as "U-duh".
