Interesting. I’ll have to read his book ‘cause this is news to me. The more information, the better.
I was working in the media at the time of 9/11. What a PILAVA that time was. What I remember, which made me pissed off with the US, was Bush Jr saying at the onset, something along the lines of the planes took off from Canada and thereby Canadian planes attacked New York. As if CANADA had anything that could attack the US! L’il Bushy then went on to say that if any one went against what he said about the planes, than they were against the US. He almost declared war on Canada! Thank God that Chrétien gave him the finger and effectively called him a liar and told him to f-off, which made L’il Bushy reverse his nonsense. Whatever anyone says about Chrétien, he had a big pair of kahoonas! I was very proud, for the first and only time, of Chrétien that day.
9/11 was fishy to me, even being as Asleep as I was. Way to many lies and cover-ups. I saw a heck of a lot of misdirection then, and if I commented on it, was reprimanded for not being emotional enough/“sensitive to the feelings of the New Yorkers” by the Execs at the company, and persecuted by their nepotism toadies, my fellow employees. It began, again, a dark time in my life.
