The WTC buildings were built to withstand a strike. They were NOT designed with the idea of a fully laden 757 and 767 flying directly into them on purpose. Also, the structure of the buildings was such that when the steel gave way, the effect was a pancaking straight down. The so-called explosions that some say they saw would have been escaping air from the pressure of the collapse. Another thing to keep in mind is that it was not only fuel. There were millions of tons of flammable fuel sources in those buildings. The second tower came down first because it was hit lower. That was s a hell of a lot of weight bearing down on it.

I, personally, don't by into the theories about exploding the buildings. I also distinctly recall seeing that they intentionally brought down WTC7 because it was highly unstable. What I DO buy into is that, like Pearl Harbor, our government knew what the plan was, and they intentionally let it happen. Even the "mastermind" at Gitmo claims that they had no idea that they would collapse, but they were thrilled beyond belief.

Was there a conspiracy? Absolutely. None of the intelligence agencies were allowed to share information by law. Well, that sure got fixed by the Patriot Act and the creation of DHS. DHS was supposed to be nothing more that a figurehead to coordinate information from all the intel agencies. Except, that is never good enough for the feds. It has since been expanded to be a brown shirt army.

The people involved should be tried, found guilty and hanged. Which I firmly believe is what is going to happen, or already has in some cases.
