I always had this weird feeling: 1 month before 9/11 a new TV channel has been launched in Poland. It was 24-hrs news channel. It seemed to be a bad business idea. You don’t have enough news in a post-communist, developing country to broadcast them for 24 hours, you just don’t have enough tv material to broadcast.
When the 9/11 happened - it all changed. I remember myself sitting and watching for hours, days, sometimes nights. Out of nowhere a news channel has gained a lot of traction. How convenient?
Over the next years the channel has presented their true “face” and people in Poland knew they’re not on our side. I started to wonder if they knew about 9/11 coming …
