Bills' Damar Hamlin inactive for season opener vs Jets

The Buffalo Bills deactivated Damar Hamlin before the team's Week 1 game on the road against the New York Jets. The safety suffered a cardiac arrest on the field in Week 17 last season.

Well, he signed ownership of himself away when he started so he's been their slave ever since... only the ones who make it out with money or are so popular (like a great qb) ever get close to breaking free. He's probably dead though, and like fetterman 2 or 3 or 4.0, they just can't expect the level of performance out of the stand-in... at best a guy in a full mask will take some snaps in a game them "retire" after making a "comback" so the books(gaslighting) can be written then they'll dissappear the story and character altogether.
