If people do not/did not get to experience how awful the world is and what the future is for "us sheep" we would be back in this situation in only a decade or few if "someone swooped in and set all current wrongs/evils straight". Unfortunately, I do believe we have to experience all of this evil crap and come close to losing everything as well as nearly becoming slaves to the elites.
