We're in WV north of Charleston.

Get regular .mil helo traffic over our house and the occasional transport.

Few years ago, they were always transponding. Last few years they all go over dark with the occasional exception.

We think maybe they use our property as a visual navigation aid as it likely is very visible from the air among mostly woods, because the helos are always flying right over day mostly but occasionally at night.

I'm assuming they're WVANG but I can't make out the markings without binocs and I never seem to have them handy or maybe I just don't care enough anymore.
