Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) signed three new gun control bills, one of which expands areas where concealed carry for self-defense is banned.

Does anyone even pay attention to these "bans"? I remember a period of 3 or 4 years in the 90's when I carried a concealed handgun every day to my work on a university campus because of a menacing coworker. Despite the rules against it. I figured I'd rather be alive to fight the charges of illegally carrying a handgun on campus than dead from my coworker.
