Oh, we can only hope the government stops on Friday. What will people do? Will Federal employees go to work? What about the border cops? If they stay home the invaders will have open borders....oh, wait, they already have open borders to cross. Yea, I want a government shutdown. It will be good to see how folks react when their government teet dries up overnight. I'd hate to be in a big city.
I imagine that if the Government were to shut down for an extended period of time... crime would actually drop... so would illegal immigration... so would a lot of our problems.
That isnt just a reporting issue. Obviously if you are in a state like California where crime is now legal, crime doesnt drop but the reporting of it does (e.g. they are manipulating the data).
The reason I think it will be better, is that all the illegals who are coming here for the FREE stuff would stop coming. Their funding would dry up. There would at first be a spike in crime - but in the long run they would stop coming here and go back home as there is no more FREE stuff.
The money that is funding their travels here would also dry up. We all know our Government is probably funding the human smugglers to get them here. No way all these people are showing up with brand spanking new - non blemished clothing with $300+ kicks on.
Lets see a prolonged shut down. Lets see all those who are living off the Gov tit cut off. Lets see people actually have to work for a wage. Society overall would become immensely more productive and not have time to go be hood rats committing crimes and scheming all the time.
